The Guests of Honour were Dato Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen the Minister of Tourism and His Excellency Dr Rolf Lenz and Madame Shirley Lenz. A special guest was Hans Wiedemann, MD and Delegate of the Board of Badrutt's Palace, the best hotel in St Moritz and one of the best in the whole world.

Other notables include Ivan Breiter, Director of SouthEast Asia for Switzerland Tourism who is based in Singapore and Thamonwan Tiyawarakul aka Pen of Jungfrau Rail, the most spectacular train in Switzerland which offers one of the world's most breathtakingly awesome scenery. Pen looks after Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Singapore and is based in Bangkok. Another important guest was Isabelle Ng, sales manager of Oman Air which flew in the many guests.

Switzerland is one of the world's most visited nations and this Alpine has everything you can possibly imagine; spectacular mountains straddling azure lakes, verdant green scenery and flowers in winter, snow capped terrain in winter, spotlessly clean cities and towns, charming and quaint hamlets and villages, delightful food, fabulous chocolates, incredible shopping for fine watches, magnificent jewellery, couture fashion and great souvenirs. Switzerland is the most photogenic country ever and is safe as houses so you don't need to look behind your shoulders. Everything moves like clockwork and all goes according to plan. For Malaysians unused to snowy mountain views and skyhigh train rides, Switzerland is an unique destination to be included in your wish list. As one of the planet's richest countries, Switzerland has a reputation for being expensive but this is NOT so. It can be as extravagant as your platinum card can handle or as economical as any other European nation. After all, not every Swiss is a millionaire you know!

Hans Wiedemann of Badrutt's Palace hotel very generously sponsored a 4-night stay in his hotel in St Moritz. A room in this 5-star hotel is luxurious enough as I have stayed there before and was wallowing in unfettered luxury but this time the winner of the lucky draw would get to stay in the suite at US$ 20,000 a night which was worth a staggering US$ 80,000 or around RM 250,000 for 4 nights!

Of course I prayed to Buddha and Jesus I would win or failing which, Princess Dr Becky Leogardo would win as for sure she would bring me and pay Oman Air for our air tickets! So I would still be a de facto winner.

Buddha and Jesus Christ answered my second prayers and Minister of Tourism Dato Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen picked the winning name card read out the winner's name---Princess Dr Becky Leogardo!

My prayers answered!

So now we will be jetsetting to St Moritz on Oman Air!

As for the food at L'Heritage at Royale Chulan hotel, we feasted on foie gras, carrot soup, salmon escalope, quail leg confit, wagyu beef & poached chicken, cheese selection and Grand Cru dark chocolate. Each course was paired with matching red and wine wine and truly was one of the best meals I had in Kuala Lumpur. It was so delicious and soul satisfying I would almost be consoled even if my prayer was not answered.

Those who wish to enjoy like me can do so as L'Heritage is offering various menus at incredible prices---read that as very reasonable! The full menu costs RM 170 ++, the 5-course menu costs RM 150 ++ and members of the poorer, lower class can still enjoy a 3-course highclass meal for RM120++!
