On this special occasion, the presidents and the directors of Alliances Françaises from around the world assembled at the headquarters of Alliance Française in Paris for the two-day event themed “La Culture est une fête” [Culture is a celebration].

On 16th July, the President of France, François Hollande received the presidents of Alliance Française at a reception at the Élysée Palace. Tengku Zatashah, daughter of the Sultan of Selangor, had the honour to meet personally President Hollande and he expressed delight to have Malaysia present in the celebrations.

The following day, on 17th July, Tengku Zatashah participated in the French round-table titled “Les Voix du Monde” [Voices of the World]. Tengku Zatashah, representing Asia, was one of six Alliance Française Presidents that hailed from Dublin, Sydney, Paris, Harare, Bogota and Kuala Lumpur.
