Around a hundred family members and friends came to celebrate Angie Lim's 50th birthday at Kechara Oasis Vegetarian restaurant on the second floor of Viva Home Mall in Cheras which is along Jalan Yoke Lew so it is actually part of Kuala Lumpur though it seems a bit far away from Golden Triangle where I live and party!

I like the notion of going vegetarian on your birthday party---as you  celebrate one more year of life, why should you kill another life? So by going vegetarian you will not be responsible for the murder and death of chicken, cow, goat, duck, fish and shark!

So I salute Angie Lim for going vegetarian on the 50th year of her long life as Buddha has decreed she will die at 108 years old so she will be  celebrating her SECOND 50th birthday party in 2064!
